Position Summary

TourToTeach, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs are met, resolving complaints, and implementing action plans to improve customer experience.

What you'll do...

  • Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates.
  • Tourstores and provides feedback, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
  • Utilizes technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction to introduce and lead company change efforts.
  • Provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  • Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as store of the community and community outreach programs.
  • Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved by developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience.
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Maintains effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Supervises and develops opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.

  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy, providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Respects individuals by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging, recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential, and attracting and retaining the best talent.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges), State Pay Differential.

Live Better U

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific plan or program terms. Minimum Qualifications

2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
