Position Summary
TourToTeach, a role within the Walmart organization, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.

- Teaching and training associates, providing feedback, and actively listening to their concerns.
- Collaborating with all levels of associates to discuss store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
- Introducing and leading company change efforts, setting clear expectations, and guiding associates to implement business solutions.
- Communicating business objectives to teams and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
- Developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies and improve the customer experience.
- Managing and supporting customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, modeling the Walmart values, and acting with integrity.
- Supervising and developing hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Coordinating, completing, and overseeing job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Respecting individuals, building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.
- Recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college; OR
- 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR
- 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Pay Range
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Legal Requirements
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
