Position Summary

Ensures the efficient scheduling and production of products, maintains clean processing areas, monitors and operates HTST systems, coordinates CIP systems, batches chocolate, identifies and reports process issues, adheres to safety procedures, and contributes to continuous improvement.

What you'll do

  • Schedules and processes product production
  • Maintains cleanliness in processing areas before and after use
  • Monitors and operates HTST systems according to PMO standards
  • Operates computers and HMI systems
  • Maintains and adjusts milk unloading schedules as needed
  • Coordinates CIP systems according to PMO and food safety plans
  • Batches chocolate
  • Identifies and escalates process issues or deviations to management
  • Adheres to company safety procedures and guidelines
  • Uses personal protective equipment
  • Operates machinery and equipment safely
  • Reports hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately
  • Participates in safety trainings and drills
  • Maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of safety protocols
  • Achieves work assignments and prioritizes tasks by utilizing policies and available resources
  • Collaborates effectively with managers, coworkers, and business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations
  • Identifies and suggests ways to address improvement opportunities
  • Demonstrates adaptability and willingness to learn from change, difficulties, and feedback
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices

Pay and Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $28.80. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications

Required qualifications include experience in a manufacturing or production environment, knowledge of HACCP, GMP, OSHA, and SQF requirements, and the ability to operate machinery and equipment safely.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications may include additional certifications or experience in specific areas such as hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.
