About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join the Molecular Profiling & Bioconjugation group in BioMedicine Design at Pfizer. The candidate will work with a talented team of scientists to develop innovative protein biotherapeutics to bring curative treatments to patients. The candidate will be a key member of the conjugation chemistry team, responsible for the hands-on execution of bioconjugation experiments.
Responsibilities
- Generation, purification, and characterization of bioconjugates
- Execution of bioconjugation experiments
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with standard lab techniques and basic protein handling
- Familiarity with bioconjugation reactions and associated analytical and purification methods such as chromatography and mass spectrometry
- Fast learner, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Ability to effectively plan and complete experiments with limited supervision after fully trained
- Able to clearly communicate experiment results
- Experienced with using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data presentation and reporting
Qualifications
BA/BS in chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical biology with 0-2 years of research experience
Pay
Pay rate range: 30–36 USD hourly. The actual pay rate will be based on skills, competencies, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This role is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state requirements.

This is a temporary role as an employee of Atrium (Pfizer’s third-party payrolling partner) on assignment at Pfizer. Compensation, medical benefits, fringe benefits, and other terms of employment will be presented by Atrium upon offer.
