About the Role

Drive, develop, and implement the business plan for your area of responsibility to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, and safety, while also implementing operational improvements. Manage assigned financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses against budget, asset utilization, and preparing or analyzing business reports. Serve as a community liaison by participating in local and charitable activities, and champion company-sponsored programs and events.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).
  • Forecast and follow up on staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands.
  • Monitor and ensure facility-wide compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures by developing, distributing, or maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others as needed.
  • Supervise and manage associates and leaders by giving direction, communicating goals, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation.
  • Build high-performing teams by embracing differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences, fostering a culture of belonging, and creating opportunities for associates to thrive.
  • Work collaboratively, build trusting relationships, and communicate with impact to motivate and influence.
  • Attract and retain talent, empower and develop associates, and recognize contributions and accomplishments.
  • Maintain and promote the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance, modeling Walmart’s values and supporting a regenerative company mission.
  • Deliver results while prioritizing the customer, adapting to shopping behaviors, and applying EDLP and EDLC business models.
  • Make data-driven decisions, balancing short- and long-term priorities while considering stakeholders such as customers, associates, shareholders, and communities.
  • Drive continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support others through change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management); and 2 years of experience in a senior management role within operations/distribution/logistics, supervising managers/supervisors, managing workload, and participating in hiring/promotion of employees facility-wide.
  • OR 2 years of experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager, including supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing workload; and participating in hiring/promotion.
  • OR 4 years of experience in a senior management role in operations/distribution/logistics/retail, supervising managers/supervisors, managing workload, and participating in hiring/promotion of employees facility-wide.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with compliance, financial modeling, forecasting, budget preparation/execution, or profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
  • Experience managing challenging workforce issues or supervising associates.
  • Familiarity with Walmart Logistics systems or roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, or Operations Management.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $116,000.00 - $174,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, regional pay zone adjustments (based on location), and stock.
