(USA) Asset Protection Associate - All DC/FC

Responsibilities

• Asset Protection & Security
  • Supports facility security staff
  • Monitors and maintains access control equipment
• Employee Health and Safety
  • Accesses organizational resources to address business-specific health and safety hazards
  • Supports implementation of industry-specific and OSHA guidelines
  • Highlights business risks associated with employee health and safety issues to facility management
  • Addresses employee health and safety issues within assigned scope of responsibility
  • Maintains a directory of emergency response personnel
  • Summons emergency services as necessary
  • Conducts compliance, safety, and food safety audits
  • Creates audit reports
  • Acts as an associate interface for workers compensation issues; obtains necessary records and analyzes claim types
• Partnership & Collaboration
  • Owns delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others
  • Supports process updates and changes

Requirements

• 6 months of experience as a Walmart associate, or
• 1 year of work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or a security-related field (e.g., Military, Public Safety, Compliance, Criminal Justice)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Additional work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related fields

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.60 - $27.10. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply in specific circumstances, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
