US Wholesale Account Executive
About the role
ZIMMERMANN is seeking a talented Account Executive to join our US Wholesale team. This role plays an important part in maintaining and growing the North American department store network for RTW, Swim, Kids & Accessories.
Responsibilities
- Supporting North American department store business lifecycle from market to markdown, in order to drive visibility and profitability in store while aligning with Zimmermann objectives
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with vendor teams including buying, planning, marketing, store and logistics teams
- Conducting market appointments in NYC and Paris for five collections per year
- Owning the seasonal sell-in strategy with key accounts, including assortment planning and pre-market preparation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including logistics and finance, to ensure timely shipping and payments and meeting invoicing targets
- Planning and coordinating seasonal marketing and events in collaboration with partner accounts to drive sales
- Collaborating with the Wholesale VM Coordinator to optimize in-store presentation, providing feedback and support to maximize visibility and productivity in store and supporting with opening of shop-in-shops
- Leveraging field team to support in sell-out and overall business productivity through in-store trainings, event support and business analysis
- When required, traveling outside of NYC to visit B&M department store locations to perform duties including but not limited to; staff training, product knowledge clinics, visual merchandising, general sales support or special events
- Analyzing weekly sales performance by account and partnering closely with buying and merchandising teams to maximize sell-through and optimize inventory
- Collaborating on EOS collection analysis with the global team
- Conducting robust business analysis by account to inform future buy plans and growth strategies, ensuring all opportunities are recognized and action plans implemented
- Monitoring industry trends
Requirements
- 3+ years of wholesale sales, account management, or territory sales experience within fashion, apparel, accessories, footwear, or luxury consumer goods
- Understanding of luxury department store business needs, with established relationships within key accounts
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Clear understanding of wholesale business operations, retail math, inventory management, and sales planning
- Proven ability to analyze selling reports and leverage data to drive business decisions
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously, while meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite and sales platforms including Joor and NuOrder
- Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time

Pay
Salary: 75000 - 85000 USD (yearly)
