About the role
US Patriot is seeking a Full Time Retail Sales Manager to operate stores and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of assigned US Patriot stores, including the supervision of all store employees.
- Scheduling: Efficiently schedule all employees while considering each subordinate’s requests for hours.
- Training: Sales/product training, upsell/cross-sell, POS procedures, shelf facing and stocking, inventory management.
- Sales and Merchandising: Ensure products are fully stocked, correctly tagged, properly faced, and in the correct category.
- Create a sales plan to meet the store’s sales obligations.
- Encourage the performance of employees with sales goals and a plan for meeting store goals.
- Hiring and terminating employees based on the company's hiring process.
- Ensure customers have an outstanding, pleasant shopping experience.
- Communicate new item requests from customers to District Manager and Planner.
- Accurately receive all deliveries of merchandise to the store in a timely, accurate manner.
- Check inventory on a frequent basis.
- Complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports.
- Maintain safety standards and report accidents in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate good judgment and respect for the position with the Company, co-workers, AAFES Staff, Clients, and Customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Three years of previous experience with retail management preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem analysis, decision making
- Financial and quantitative analysis (preferred)
- Proven ability to motivate and coach others
- Ability to continuously move around all areas of the store on a daily basis
- Ability to work flexible shift hours 7 days a week
Qualifications
- SOFA Passport with stamp and A-3 Status (US Patriot does not provide SOFA status)
- Official Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Orders
- DOD Civilian Temporary Change of Station (TCS) Orders
