About the role
Uro-Oncologist responsible for providing specialized urologic oncology care with a focus on prostate treatment.
Responsibilities
- Delivering comprehensive patient care in urologic oncology, utilizing minimally invasive procedures.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality treatment and patient outcomes.
- Participating in weekly conferences to stay updated on latest treatments and technologies.
- Engaging in educational activities and contributing to the department’s mission of advancing urologic care.
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of residency with Board certification or eligibility.
- Fellowship training in Urologic Oncology with prostate focus.
- Current New York State medical license.
- Excellent communication and management skills, with ability to work collaboratively.
- Recent experience with current accepted methods and techniques in urology.
