Urgent Need Detection Engineering SME

We are seeking a Detection Engineering Subject Matter Expert to design, develop, tune, and optimize advanced cybersecurity detection capabilities within Google SecOps. Key Responsibilities Develop single-event and multi-event detection rules within Google SecOps.Design detection logic based on threat intelligence, adversary behaviors, and operational requirements.Deploy and customize curated detection content.Perform detection tuning and false-positive reduction activities.Develop detection strategies aligned with MITRE ATT&CK techniques.Support threat hunting and security analytics activities.Create documentation for detection logic, validation procedures, and operational use.Collaborate with SOC analysts to improve detection effectiveness. Required Qualifications Strong experience in cybersecurity detection engineering and threat hunting.Experience developing SIEM detection rules and analytics content.Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and adversary tactics.Experience analyzing security telemetry and attack patterns.Experience with Google SecOps detection capabilities or comparable SIEM platforms.Understanding of incident response and SOC operations.
