URGENT NEED - Business Analyst with Property & Casualty - REMOTE
About the role
Pinnacle Method Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst with Property & Casualty expertise for a 12-month contract position based in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial insurance domains and a background in Business Analysis, particularly on projects involving Business Intelligence solutions such as MicroStrategy, Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends related to property and casualty insurance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and document user stories
- Design and implement data models and reports using BI tools
- Support the implementation of new systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry
- Proven experience working on BI projects using MicroStrategy, Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations
Skills
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of business process modeling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work remotely
