Urgent Care Provider - Asheville NC (IMMEDIATE $10,000 Sign on bonus)

About the Role
This is an urgent care NP or PA provider role with an immediate 10K sign-on bonus, flexible schedule, 401K retirement, and generous benefits.
Responsibilities
PA or NP Provider obtains an adequate history and performs an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem. Orders pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation. Makes appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered. Administers appropriate medication or treatment as necessary. May perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing, stitching, stapling, incision and drainage when necessary. DOT Certification is preferred and if you currently don’t have one, will be required to get certified within 6 months of hire.
Requirements
- Board Certified nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant
- BLS Certification
- Active NC Provider license in good standing
- At least 1 year Provider experience in the Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Primary Care Medicine settings
- Prior experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting preferred
