Services offered

• Accidents, medical illness, injuries, and simple procedures that might require suturing, stitching, stapling

Responsibilities

• Obtains an adequate history and performs an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem
• Orders pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation
• Makes appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered
• Administers appropriate medication or treatment as necessary
• May perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing, stitching, stapling, incision and drainage when necessary

Requirements

• Board Certified nurse practitioners or Physician Assistants with BLS Certification
• Active NC Provider license in good standing
• At least 1 year Provider experience in the Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Primary Care Medicine settings
• Prior experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting preferred

$120,000 - $160,000 per year
