About the Role
Premier World Class Urgent Care and Primary Care Network in beautiful North Carolina
Job Responsibilities
- Obtains an adequate history and performs an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem
- Orders pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation
- Makes appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered
- Administers appropriate medication or treatment as necessary
- May perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing, stitching, stapling, incision and drainage when necessary
Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with BLS Certification
- Active NC Provider license in good standing
- At least 1 year Provider experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care Medicine settings
- Prior experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting preferred
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain DOT certification within 6 months of hire
