Urgent Care FNP / PA-C - Roanoke Rapids NC (Immediate 25K Sign on Bonus)
Job Details
Absolutely board certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant with BLS certification.
Active NC Provider license in good standing.
At least one year of provider experience in emergency medicine, family medicine, or primary care medicine settings.
Prior experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
PA or NP Provider obtains an adequate history and performs an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem.
Orders pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation.
Makes appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered.
Administers appropriate medication or treatment as necessary.
May perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing, stitching, stapling, incision and drainage when necessary.
