Urgent Care FNP / PA-C - Roanoke Rapids NC (Immediate 25K Sign on Bonus)

About the role

Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position offering a sign-on bonus up to $25,000, a flexible schedule, 401K retirement plan, and generous benefits.

Responsibilities

• Obtain an adequate history and perform an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem.
• Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation.
• Make appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on gathered information.
• Administer appropriate medication or treatment as necessary.
• Perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing, stitching, stapling, incision, and drainage when necessary.

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• BLS Certification.
• Active North Carolina Provider license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of Provider experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Primary Care Medicine settings.
• Prior experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting preferred.

Pay

$120,000 - $160,000 per year.
