Urgent Care Physician - $450K to $500K

About the Opportunity

A well-established practice in Gainesville is seeking a Board-Certified Urgent Care or Emergency Physician (preferred) to join its growing team. This is a full-time position offering procedural autonomy, a collaborative work environment, and competitive compensation.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday (8am – 8pm)
• Weekends (10am – 4pm)

Pay

Salary range: $450,000 – $500,000

Hourly rate: $200/hr (expected but could be more depending on production)

Productivity bonus available

Responsibilities

• Learn and utilize EMR and tablet/laptop technology at the bedside
• Prescribe and administer vaccinations to immunize patients from communicable diseases
• Promote health by advising patients about diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease
• Perform surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency
• Refer patients to primary care physicians or medical specialists for consultation services when necessary
• Document patient visits including medical history, physical exam, diagnoses, and plan of action
• Follow-up with patients regarding progress in high risk or emergency cases
• Follow-up daily on laboratory tests and X-Rays

Requirements

• MD or DO with specialization in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
