About the Role

We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with advancement to a Medical Directorship in Fresno, CA.

Responsibilities

• Practice Urgent Care Medicine during twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Full-time role includes 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing 4 mid-level providers.
• Part-time role requires a minimum of 6 shifts per month and managing up to 4 mid-level providers.
• Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
• Perform bread & butter procedures: I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
• Utilize in-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray equipment.
• All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Use VelociDoc EMR with Dragon dictation to document all patients in one minute.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O).
• Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program.
• Board-Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Active and in good standing California Medical License.
• DEA Certificate.

Pay

• Salary: $150/hour.
• Annual compensation: $380,800.
• Bonus: $100,000 sign-on bonus for full-time only.
• Stipend: $60,000/year for Medical Directorship.

Schedule

Practicing twelve-hour shifts with a 1-hour break. Full-time is 12 shifts per month, plus 2 on-call shifts per month. Part-time is a minimum of 6 shifts per month.
