Physician - Medical Director - Urgent Care

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Medical Director for Urgent Care in Shreveport, La. This physician would oversee 3 clinics in Northern Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Appropriate Care Team
• Ensure Quality and Safety Standards are Met
• Develop and Implement Clinical Policies
• Recruit and Mentor Staff
• Collaborate with Other Departments
• Provide Clinical Guidance and Support

Requirements

• Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Urgent Care
• Strong Leadership and Management Skills
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to Work in a Team Environment

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana
• Passing score on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME)
