Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care, emergency room, or high acute family medicine experience to join our team. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor's degree for Physician Assistants and a master's degree for Nurse Practitioners, with one year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or one year in an Urgent Care setting, or two years of Family Medicine experience.

Essential Functions
- Examining and treating patients
- Taking patients' medical histories
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays
- Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
- Treating minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting
- Recording progress notes for follow-up patients
- Education and counseling patients
- Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients
- Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care
Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting preferred
- Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, casting etc.
- Preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required
- Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting required
- Preferred: Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Strong communication and customer service skills
