Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Float $13,500 Sign On Bonus

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care, emergency room, or high acute family medicine experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of providers in the surrounding region. Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
• Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
• One (1) year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or One (1) year of Urgent Care setting experience required
• Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience
• Required Licenses/Certifications: National Certification, Active state medical licensure

Essential Functions

• Examining and treating patients
• Taking patients’ medical histories
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
• Treating minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting
• Recording progress notes for follow-up patients
• Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients
• Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care
