Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care, emergency room, or high acute family medicine experience to join our team. Ideal candidates will treat both adult and pediatric patients in a welcoming and diverse community of providers.

Essential Functions

• Examining and treating patients
• Taking patients' medical histories
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
• Treating minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting
• Recording progress notes for follow-up patients
• Education and counseling patients
• Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients
• Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care

Required Licenses/Certifications

• National Certification
• Active State Medical Licensure

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
• Applicable Office Procedures Including but Not Limited to Suturing, Splinting, Casting, etc.
• Preliminary Reads on EKGs and X-Rays Required
• Experience Treating Patients Ages 6 Months and Up in an Acute Care Setting
• Ability to Be Attentive with Strong Listening Skills
• Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills
