UR Specialist Supervisor

Summary

Working/Supervisor position responsible for the leadership and supervision of the Utilization Review (UR) Specialists and Office Coordinator as well as for the collection, aggregation, analysis, and reporting of complex clinical data. The data will be used to support the efficient utilization of clinical resources and clinical improvement activities. The collection of this data will ensure appropriate reimbursement for medical services, justify the requirements of accrediting organizations, and support clinical improvement activities such as the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the three Case Manager/UR Specialists at BAPTIST HEALTH's three regional facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, postgraduate degree, preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Arkansas.
• Recent UR related experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Certification in UR preferred.
• Supervisory experience and ability to supervise and lead a small team of 10-15 employees.
• Serve on the UR Committee.

Other Information

• This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
