Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operation of patient navigation services.
  • Ensure courteous and professional customer service.
  • Manage work schedules and ensure adequate coverage and efficient service delivery.
  • Oversee the multi-line telephone system, ensuring calls are answered and transferred efficiently.
  • Maintain customer service quality by addressing inquiries and providing support for UCFS Health Center services.
  • Ensure proper call handling procedures and protocols are followed.
  • Oversee the initial client intake process, ensuring accuracy in the entry of demographic and insurance information.
  • Coordinate insurance verification processes.
  • Provide guidance in telephonic and in-person support for clients/patients, including assessments for social determinants of health.
  • Facilitate communication plans, timelines, and follow-ups for ongoing client support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Five to seven years of related experience in patient navigation or customer service, including supervisory roles.
  • Call Center experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role is strongly preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-Time, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm.
