UPT-Clinical Nursing Faculty - Part-Time, Appointment-Stream Instructors of Nursing, beginning Fall 2026

About the role

The University of Pittsburgh at Titusville is currently seeking qualified applicants for part-time, appointment-stream instructors of nursing in the Division of Biological & Health Sciences, beginning Fall 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person in the Associate of Science in Nursing Program at the undergraduate level, including didactic, lab, and clinical settings.
• Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience.
• Candidates who are experienced working with college students from diverse backgrounds and have applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• MSN or higher degree in nursing with at least one year’s nursing experience.
• A strong commitment to teaching undergraduates.
• A current unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania or a compact state (dual licensure in NYS preferred).
• Possess appropriate clearances* and BLS certification or be able to obtain these prior to the start of employment.
• Show evidence of or the potential for excellence in clinical and/or classroom teaching.
• Contribute to a learning environment that values evidence-based practice.
• Experience teaching at the university or collegiate level is preferred.
