UPB-Clinical Nursing Faculty - Part-Time, Appointment-Stream Instructors of Nursing, beginning Fall 2026
Requirements
MSN or higher degree in nursing with at least one year’s nursing experience.
A strong commitment to teaching undergraduates.
A current unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania or a compact state (dual licensure in NYS preferred).
Appropriate clearances* and BLS certification or ability to obtain these prior to the start of employment.
Show evidence of or the potential for excellence in clinical and/or classroom teaching.
Contribute to a learning environment that values evidence-based practice.
Experience teaching at the university or collegiate level is preferred.
Responsibilities
Teach in-person in the Associate of Science in Nursing Program at the undergraduate level, including didactic, lab, and clinical settings.
Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience.
Candidates who are experienced working with college students from diverse backgrounds and have applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.
