Clinical Nursing Faculty (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction including lectures, lab, simulation sessions, testing, attendance, and communication with students, clinical safety, security, and discipline.
• Provide clinical instruction, laboratory sessions, clinical site discipline, safety and security following policies and procedures of each clinical site.
• Assess each patient assigned to the student.
• RN program Clinical Instructors function under the supervision of the nursing faculty member who has overall course responsibility.
• Prepare student progress reports, enter grades, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Nursing from an institutional accredited school (either ACEN, CCNE, etc).
• Masters degree preferred.
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State in which the program is licensed.
• Minimum of two years full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse.
• Prior teaching or presentation experience preferred.
