Upper School Math Teacher
St. Mary Academy – Bay View seeks a full-time Upper School Math Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Successful applicants must be willing to work collaboratively to build a supportive learning environment and be comfortable using student-centered instructional practices.

Responsibilities
- Teach Upper School Mathematics to students in Grades 9-12.
- Prepare and teach five (5) sections of math, including courses such as finance and marketing, AP Statistics, and Algebra 2 (CP and Honors levels).
- Employ high-quality project-based approaches and evidence-based practices to support all learners.
- Assess students’ skills and knowledge to refine classroom practices and provide feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding students’ progress, expectations, and goals.
- Integrate instructional and recordkeeping strategies using Google Suite and/or other appropriate technology.
- Create instructional programming that promotes students' academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth in an all-girls school.
- Serve as a homeroom teacher/TEAm Leader, collaborating with a team of teachers on extracurricular programming, and providing faculty support to a club or activity.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Mathematics or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Willingness to attend AP Summer Institute.
- Knowledge and experience teaching a rigorous mathematics curriculum.
- Committed to ongoing professional growth and learning.
- Understanding and appreciating the developmental range of the age group.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
