Upper School JV Assistant Soccer Coach
Position
The Upper School JV Assistant Soccer Coach position is available for the 2026 fall season.
Reports To
Director of Athletics
FLSA Status
Stipend, part-time position
Job Summary And Duties
- Implement instruction and training programs to prepare student-athletes for competition
- Collaborate with coaching staff to plan, organize and run daily practices
- Attend all practices and competitions at the direction of the Head Soccer Coach and Director of Athletics
- Supervise student-athletes during all team activities
- Comply with Sacred Heart and sport-specific organization policies and procedures
- Aid in maintaining equipment
- Communicate effectively with parents and students
Typical Practice Times
Upper School Season starts August 24th, 4:00-6:00 pm, Monday- Friday; occasional Saturday games
Travel
Travel with the team for practices and games is required. Some games require early departure for Upper School level teams.
Qualifications
- Experience with the sport at the college level, or equivalent
- Expertise in teaching sport-specific skills and strategy
- The ability to relate and communicate effectively with young women
- Energetic, approachable, knowledgeable, and eager to be an active member of a dynamic athletic and learning community
