Seasonal position with a stipend range of $3,395 to $4,185, placed on the Middle School Coaches Salary Schedule based on years of coaching experience.

Requirements
- Meet district and WIAA requirements, including a valid background check.
- Head coach applicants must be at least 21 years of age; assistant coach applicants must be at least 19 years of age.
- Possess a valid first aid and CPR card.
- Complete the KSD online application process, including professional reference forms.
- Annually complete:
- WIAA general rules clinic
- WIAA-approved rule clinic for the sport being coached
- KSD Vector Training requirements prior to the sports season
- Complete Concussion recognition and management with Return to Play Protocols training (renew every three years).
- Complete Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness and Training (renew every three years).
- Before the beginning of the third year of coaching, complete one of the following:
- School district-approved Coaching Principles training
- NFHS Coaches Fundamentals Course
- All sessions of the WIAA Coaches School
- Other Coaches School as approved by the WIAA or local school district
After initial completion, repeat this training every three years.
- If hired, read and sign the KSD Coaches Manual.
