Assistant Coach - Boys Soccer (JV)

Seasonal position with a stipend range of $3,395 to $4,185, placed on the Middle School Coaches Salary Schedule based on years of coaching experience.

Requirements

• Meet district and WIAA requirements, including a valid background check.
• Head coach applicants must be at least 21 years of age; assistant coach applicants must be at least 19 years of age.
• Possess a valid first aid and CPR card.
• Complete the KSD online application process, including professional reference forms.
• Annually complete:
  • WIAA general rules clinic
  • WIAA-approved rule clinic for the sport being coached
  • KSD Vector Training requirements prior to the sports season
• Complete Concussion recognition and management with Return to Play Protocols training (renew every three years).
• Complete Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness and Training (renew every three years).
• Before the beginning of the third year of coaching, complete one of the following:
  • School district-approved Coaching Principles training
  • NFHS Coaches Fundamentals Course
  • All sessions of the WIAA Coaches School
  • Other Coaches School as approved by the WIAA or local school district

  After initial completion, repeat this training every three years.

• If hired, read and sign the KSD Coaches Manual.
