Upgrade Team Lead - 2HL - 1st shift
About the role
Prepares the production floor for daily production.
Monitors hourly/daily production.
Reviews production processes for accuracy and quality requirements.
Trains/maintains training of team members in processes.
Monitors team members or production machines for improvement suggestions.
Communicates with associates, supervisors and other key business stakeholders effectively including start of shift meetings, shift turnover communication ex. reports/emails.
Assists with material loading and unloading as necessary from PIT equipment.
May be required to stock lines as needed.
Assists production operators as necessary.
Meets area KPI metrics as assigned by area.
Assists in training associates as needed and offers feedback on performance issues.
Maintains a clean and safe work area through 6S standards.
May plan and organize the execution of daily schedule and staffing needs.
Responsible for identifying and implementing improvement ideas in work area.
Works through conflicts efficiently.
Coaches and addresses policies and procedures.

- High school graduate or GED.
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create a positive teamwork atmosphere through work ethics and habits.
- Ability to coach and develop production associates when needed.
- Conflict management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic understanding of computers and programs (SAP, Microsoft Office).
- No written disciplinary warnings within six (6) months of posting date.
- At least 17 hours of UTO.
- Able to work 8+ hours per day and 40+ hours per week.
