About the Role

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed, train and motivate associates, and drive sales results while representing company values.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales: Maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty, and support leadership in seizing business opportunities to meet KPIs.
• Lead people: Motivate and inspire the team through AEO’s core values, hold associates accountable to service standards, and model leadership on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
• Develop talent: Recruit and hire strong talent to meet staffing needs, train associates to uphold a Guest First culture, and provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching.
• Foster teamwork: Set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates, celebrate outstanding performance, and drive engagement.
• Innovate operations: Execute and improve daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards, with a focus on maintaining guest-ready Fitting Rooms.
• Uphold integrity: Maintain store safety and Asset Protection standards, adhere to AEO policies, and prioritize ethical decision-making.

Requirements

• Previous experience leading teams in a retail management role.
• Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, priority-setting, and time management skills.
• Business acumen and flexible availability to align with guest shopping patterns.
• Passion for AE and Aerie products.
