About the role
The Universal Worker/CNAs at Eventide Heartland Courts Senior Living in Devils Lake are needed for part-time shifts (6a-2:30p & 2p-10:30p), including every other weekend and holiday rotation. The position includes receiving $2 an hour evening shift differential.
Responsibilities
- Assists tenants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Ambulates and/or exercises tenants as directed.
- Observes and assists with medications.
- Reads and records vital signs.
- Prepares and serves meals.
- Provides emotional and cognitive support.
- Socializes with tenants and listens to their needs.
- Develops and documents tenant care plans.
- Recognizes and reports health changes.
- Complies with infection control policies.
- Responds to emergencies.
- Reports abuse or potential vulnerable adult issues.
- Cleans apartments, service areas, and common areas.
- Sorts, washes, dries, and folds personal clothing and linens.
- Serves meals in the dining room.
- Performs pet care as required.
Requirements
To qualify, candidates must have a current ND CNA license or be able to obtain one upon hire.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a current ND CNA license or ability to obtain one. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is helpful.

Pay
The estimated pay range for Universal Worker/CNA is $18-$20.16 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available.
