Universal Worker/CNA - Full-Time PM Shift (3PM TO 11PM). Eventide Lake Country Manor!

About the role

This position is at Eventide Lake Country Manor's Assisted Living facility. It is a Full-Time Universal Worker/CNAs role with a PM shift from 3PM to 11PM, 64 hours per Pay Period, rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assists tenants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Ambulates and/or performs therapeutic exercises for tenants.
• Observes and/or administers medications as directed by a nurse.
• Reads and records vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
• Ensures tenants receive adequate nutrition and hydration through meal preparation.
• Provides emotional and cognitive support to tenants.
• Socializes with tenants, listens, converses, and participates in activities like reading mail and writing letters.
• Gives guidance, redirection, and re-orientation to tenants as needed.
• Develops a rapport with tenants and families to understand their needs and interests.
• Documents in tenant records as instructed and promptly.
• Participates in developing, implementing, and reviewing tenants' care plans.
• Recognizes and reports significant changes in tenants' health, behavior, and appearance.
• Complies with infection control policies and procedures.
• Recognizes and handles emergencies, carrying out procedures according to policy.
• Reports any instances of physical or mental abuse or vulnerable adult reports to a supervisor.
• Reviews communication notes at the start of each shift to stay informed of changes.
• Cleans apartments, service areas, and common areas.
• Sorts, washes, dries, and folds personal clothing and linens.
• Restocks supplies as needed.
• Assists with serving meals in the dining room.
• Performs pet care as required by policy.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a current ND CNA license or be able to obtain one upon hire.

Eventide offers a competitive estimated pay range of $18-$20.16 per hour for Universal Worker/CNA roles, based on qualifications, experience, and location.
