About the role
This PRN (on-call) position is for Afton Oaks Independent & Assisted Living Apartments. We are currently searching for a Universal Worker to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. Colonial Manor of Elma is looking to invest in a Universal Worker by providing opportunities to further your career and with the tools and encouragement you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service and care to tenants
- Ensure tenants receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Afton Oaks Independent & Assisted Living
- Perform light housekeeping in tenant apartments and building
- Manage laundry duties
- Assist dietary department with meals to tenants
- Assist with the provision of personal care to tenants in accordance with tenant service plans
- If credentialed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), provide health-related cares (according to tenant service plans) as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
- One (1) year of experience in a caregiver role is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate
