Job Summary
United Today Stronger Tomorrow, a regional, state, and local organizing project, is seeking a Utah Organizer.
Responsibilities
- Organize and mobilize communities to support progressive policies and candidates
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and stakeholders
- Develop and implement strategies to engage and energize voters
- Collaborate with other organizers and campaigns to build coalitions and amplify impact
- Conduct outreach and engagement activities to build grassroots support
- Manage volunteer teams and coordinate campaign efforts
Requirements
- Strong political acumen and understanding of progressive issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in organizing and mobilizing communities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in organizing or advocacy
Skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
