About the Role

Trucordia is building the next great insurance brokerage, combining wildly successful businesses across the country. As Senior Vice President (SVP), you will maintain the overall health of an assigned platform, managing financial performance, employee culture, and operations. You will coordinate among platform teams, Central Operations, carriers, and vendor partners to achieve company-set targets, objectives, and growth. This role reports to the Trucordia Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Central Operations to set and manage the P&L for the Platform.
  • Ensure growth objectives are met by creating and maintaining a strong growth and sales culture.
  • Design and implement sales KPIs and monitor progress for potential course correction.
  • Recruit effective Producers within the Platform.
  • Ensure best practices and adoption of Salesforce capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Central Operations, including Executive team, Accounting, Finance, IT, Marketing, Carrier Relations, and other departments to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Manage platform personnel through hiring, training, development, performance management, productivity optimization, and compensation parameters.
  • Provide input on Trucordia best practices and SOPs and implement them within the Platform.
  • Work with Carrier Relations and Operations to create, implement, and monitor broking and carrier management strategies.
  • Continuously examine the market for additional carrier opportunities.
  • Monitor efforts to maximize contingencies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on employee and client communications.
  • Identify and participate in local marketing events, association meetings, industry meetings, and charity events.
  • Migrate individual offices within the Platform to full Trucordia branding.
  • Implement best-practice operations to minimize and prevent E&O claims.
  • Create and implement strategic initiatives to acquire target firms and expand Trucordia’s footprint.
  • Adhere to financial, accounting, and commission reconciliation schedules into Central Finance.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in senior or executive leadership within an insurance brokerage environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic financial, sales, and operational initiatives.
  • Significant background in building and developing goal-achieving teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
