The Nurse Manager Will Be Responsible For Providing clinical direction and leadership for effective management of nursing practices.Ensuring patient care is consistently being delivered and all quality standards are being met.Coordination, supervision, and management of clinical services, staff education, planning, development, and evaluationCollaborating with physicians and other hospital managers and directors in developing and / or revising policies, procedures, and guidelines.Ensuring staff competency, education, and training.Managing budgetsServing as a resource person for staff, developing goals and objectives, and assist in the advancement of nursing practice. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Educational Requirements:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN, Masters preferred Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of LouisianaExperience Requirements:Two years of nursing management experience preferredSkills/Abilities:Basic computer and Microsoft program knowledgeOrganizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situationsAbility to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitudePossess personal qualities such as kindness, empathy, understanding, respect, good judgment, integrity, loyalty, a sense of humor, and an ability to relate to people in a compassionate manner.
