Job Summary and Qualifications

The Unit Secretary position organizes and manages the department's activities. You will perform clerical, receptionist, and marketing duties in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Rose Medical Center.

Position Requirements

• College degree preferred but not required
• Minimum of three years of recent hospital clerical/receptionist/office experience preferred
• Certified in medical terminology
• Competent in medical terminology
• Excellent computer skills and trained in various computer programs, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Meditech, and Kronos
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, patients, physicians, and their office staff, and the public
• Demonstrates good organizational and technical skills, as well as good problem-solving skills
• Able to work on multiple tasks in a busy atmosphere
