Unit Manager (UM) Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

Join as a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager, providing leadership and oversight for daily nursing operations. This role ensures the delivery of safe, resident-centered care aligned with regulations and professional standards. You will serve as a clinical leader, mentor, and resource for nursing staff, fostering a positive, collaborative environment for residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervising nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Managing staff hiring, training, scheduling, and workflow.
• Conducting performance evaluations, resolving employee issues, and enforcing discipline.
• Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in long-term or post-acute care.
• 1+ year in a supervisory or management role preferred.
• Current RN license and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, infection control, and regulatory standards.
