Job Summary
This RN would be part of our Central Staffing Resource Department in the Adult General Care Cluster. This cluster services the Adult Medical/Surgical areas at Michigan Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to a variety of patients, young adult to elderly.
- Floating among the Adult General areas requires familiarity with multiple medical diagnoses: GI medicine, Pulmonary, Rheumatology, Hematology, and Oncology, Trauma/Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Renal Transplant, Otolaryngology, Endocrine/Plastic and Oral Surgery, Family Medicine, and Dermatology.
- Family centered care is provided through collaboration with all members of the health care team in order to meet the complex care requirements of the adult population.

Required Qualifications
- Must have a current Michigan Registered Nurse License.
- One (1) year or more of recent RN experience in adult inpatient acute care.

- Experience floating to multiple units.
- Knowledge of the University of Michigan Hospital nursing policies and practice.

- Proficient computer skills.
Pay
- Hourly range for Registered Nurses: $41.78–$64.81/hour.
- CSR RN's will receive an additional hourly differential of $2.50/hour and will not be required to work holidays.
- Evening Shift Differential: $3.00/hour.
- Night Shift Differential: $4.00/hour.
- Day Shift Weekend Differential: $2.90/hour.
- Evening Shift Weekend Differential: $5.90/hour.
- Night Shift Weekend Differential: $6.90/hour.
- Charge Nurse Differential: $1.00/hour.

Schedule
