Unit Manager (RN/LPN)

About the role

Unit Manager – oversees the care management of a population of patients within an assigned area, unit, or clinical function. The position conducts the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act for Registered Nurse licensure. The Unit Manager - RN coordinates resource utilization, timely and appropriate care interventions, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction, ensure adherence to the center's clinical systems, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care management of a patient population within an assigned area, unit, or clinical function.
• Conduct the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate resource utilization and timely, appropriate care interventions.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to center's clinical systems and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Valid RN or LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital or long‑term care (LTC) facility.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
