Unit Manager (LPN or RN)

About the role

South Pointe Rehabilitation and Care Center seeks compassionate and thoughtful individuals to join our team. We partner with skilled nursing centers to support a small team environment of caring professionals.

Responsibilities

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• Provides services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Affords assessments and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Sets and implements nursing care for assigned residents
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents treatments as required
• Ensures supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid RN or LPN license for the state of Oklahoma
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Maintains confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
• Works cooperatively as a member of a team
