Unit Manager (LPN or RN)

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced nursing leader to oversee the daily clinical operations of a resident care unit. The successful candidate will provide leadership and support to nursing and CNA staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support to nursing and CNA staff
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards
  • Supervise, train, and manage nursing and CNA staff
  • Coordinate care and ensure quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes and successful discharges

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
  • At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience in the long-term care setting
  • A current unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state in which the center is located
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in supervision of staff
  • Ability to manage and direct subordinates
