Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities on the assigned unit.
- Ensure that residents receive quality, person-centered care in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching, education, and support.
- Participate in care plan meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Oversee documentation, medication administration, and compliance with infection control standards.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care as needed.
- Promote teamwork and effective communication among staff, residents, and families.
Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license in the State of New Jersey (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or unit management experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care.
- Career-focused and team-oriented professional demeanor.
