Unit Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Unit Manager (RN) to oversee the care management of a population of patients within an assigned area, unit, or clinical function. In this leadership role, you will supervise and coordinate nursing personnel to provide direct resident care in adherence to State, Federal, and corporate guidelines. The Unit Manager coordinates resource utilization, timely and appropriate care interventions, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction, adherence to the center’s clinical systems, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Promote and facilitate teamwork among nursing personnel.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with nursing and medical procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing care facilities.
• Exercise leadership and supervisory skills to guide and support staff.
• Make independent decisions to maintain high standards of care and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Valid RN or LPN license.
• Demonstrated high standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical procedures, regulations, and compliance standards for nursing care facilities.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
