Unit Manager

We are seeking a Unit Manager to join our team at Greenville Center. As a Unit Manager, you will oversee the operations of the unit, ensuring resident and family needs are met per each resident's care plan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the unit, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner
• Supervise CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, providing guidance and coaching as needed
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure that patients are receiving high-quality care
• Assist with admissions, including assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
• Attend facility meetings as the unit representative, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other departments
• Meet with family members to keep them informed of their loved one's progress and address any concerns
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient charts and unit reports
• Work a med-cart as needed

Requirements

• RN preferred; LPNs will be considered
• 3+ years of experience
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong leadership and management skills
