About the role
CareOne is hiring for Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem opportunities across multiple shifts. This position is available in Morristown, NJ.
Job Duties
- Ensure required staffing levels are met for each shift.
- Attend and participate in resident "At Risk" meetings, ensuring resident care and condition concerns are identified and appropriate interventions are implemented.
- Review 24-hour resident change in condition reports daily and ensure necessary follow-up occurs.
- Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure they are being administered as ordered and treatments are provided as scheduled.
- Assist with the development and implementation of corrective actions for problem areas.
- Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with nursing standards and maintain licensure requirements.
- Ensure nursing staff follows policies and procedures, including appropriate dress code and infection control procedures.
- Participate in fire safety and disaster preparedness drills and ensure nursing personnel operate equipment safely.
- Report and assist with investigations of allegations of resident abuse and assist Social Services with obtaining and documenting Advance Directives/Code Status.
- Provide direct nursing care as necessary and report problem areas to the Director of Nursing.
- Assist in the development of care plans and ensure all nursing care is provided in privacy.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or graduate of an approved RN program.
- Must be an actively licensed RN in assigned state(s) of employment.
- Two years of LTC experience.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Acute Care experience preferred.

Pay
Salary range: $87K - $100K
