About the role
The University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD) is seeking to hire a Unit Human Resources Specialist III.
Responsibilities
- Provide full cycle talent acquisition to meet hiring and onboarding processes for faculty and staff.
- Provide HR support to faculty and staff.
- Provide HR consultation and guidance to ULSD staff, faculty and leaders.
- Analyze data trends and metrics and prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
- Research, monitor, and enforce policies to ensure compliance with applicable internal policies/procedures and legal requirements.
- HR project management.
- Liaison with main campus HR to administer FMLA, workers compensation and benefits.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Facilitate training and development plans on a variety of human resources topics and maintain records of participation.
- Participate in employee engagement planning and execution.
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
- Aid in payroll duties as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master’s degree in human resources or related field and 4 years of experience preferred.
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

Benefits
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
Pay
Target Compensation Maximum: $81,529.00
Target Compensation Minimum: $54,318.00
