Human Services Specialist III
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Provide coordination and support to victims and witnesses involved in criminal cases throughout court proceedings and the broader legal process.
Utilize case management software to document case information, track service delivery, and maintain accurate statistics and files.
Prepare, distribute, and explain resources, forms, and informational materials to victims and witnesses in both English and Spanish as appropriate.
Assist with program operations by performing a variety of administrative and support tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and coordinating meetings or court dates.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in compliance with legal and privacy requirements.
Serve as a liaison between victims, witnesses, prosecutors, and other criminal justice partners.
Build rapport and trust with victims and witnesses, displaying empathy and sensitivity during all interactions.
Required Skills/Abilities
- High level of fluency in both spoken and written Spanish and English.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience performing administrative support or case management tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated.
- Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.
Education And Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Experience with case management software preferred.
- Prior experience in a legal, social services, or client-facing administrative role preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, however evening and weekend hours will be required.
- Travel may be required.
